This summer has been wet. First, the entire month of June it rained. Every. Day. For 33 days straight. We now have a record for the most rain annually. Ever. Since they started keeping records, we have had the rainiest summer. I tried to stay positive through the whole thing- but toward the end I became irritable.
Now, we're dealing with hot, humid, muggy shit. It's sticky all the time and the kitchen floor sticks to your feet (even though you just washed it!) and it needs to Go. Away.
Right now it's 83% humidity. I went to get coffee this morning and noticed that the carpet is molding. Now, I know I'm not the best housekeeper, but come on! A moldy carpet?! I would get out the carpet shampooer and go to town, but I'm afraid that the carpet would be eternally soggy.
