Adventures in Lace- Update!

This KAL has really taken off!  My goodness, I never thought that there would be 14 participants!  This is going to be so much fun!

The general consensus was that a February start would be best.  What do you all think of February first as the start day?  Do you think that's enough time to get your yarn and pattern in order?  Let me know if you need more time for preparation and we can adjust the date.

We have another new member of the KAL!  Aislynn from Knit-Purl-Stitch has joined us!  Hurray!

I've added a link to the Flickr KAL group in the sidebar.  A basic membership to Flickr is free, and I really encourage people to join the group.  I think the Flickr group can be an area where we can bounce ideas around, post picture of our projects as they progress and just get to know each other in a more discussion based format.  I've started a couple of topics to get things going, but I would love for other people to start topics as well!

I'm going to move the blog buttons to this post to de-clutter my sidebar.  It looks as though most of you have already posted them to your blogs!

  1. February 1st sounds good to me. Looking forward to it. So exciting ... an excuse to buy yarn and learn new techniques! I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone in the KAL.

  2. Sounds like a good plan. I'll have to get moving on Flickr again. I thought I had used up most of my space due to uploading for Ravelry (in the early days...now you can upload to Rav from computer. So I may have to do some cleanup in my account.)

  6. Hi there! Maybe I will have to start blogging in english, just for you! ;) At least maybe once in a while... I haven't given myself the time to sit down and really read you blog for some time now, but I have browsed through and seen the pics, and is it true that you have a copy of MtAoFC? I have just read the book (Julie and Julia) and seen the movie and I am inspired!
