Help me- Please!

It seems as though I've hit a wall. Twenty days into posting every day, and I feel as though things are losing their spark. I really don't want to post just for the sake of doing it every day, so I'm reaching out for some inspiration. Will you help me?

Let me know if there's anything you want to know about- knitting, work, cooking, photography, tools- anything.  I feel like I don't have much more that's interesting to write about, and I still have 11 days!  Are there any themes that you post about, any weekly posts you would want to share with me?

I'm desperate- please, please- help me out!

  2. I would also love to hear about wedding plans!

I find that when I start to feel burned out on posting, I aim to put up a picture (just a picture, no words). By the time I get the photo up, I almost always have something to say about it!

  4. oh no! I look forward to your posts everyday! Even what you think is mundane I categorize as charming. So maybe post about your potential wedding spot, I'll bet it looks great in the snow right now. Or a trip around your neighborhood or work?

  6. I like photos of your yarn. I'd like to learn about spinning - how about your wheel? Maybe discuss a movie you have seen...you know me, I don't do anything with themes. I'd love to improve my photo skills - prob. need a better camera, too. I feel like I'm in a rut - super busy with my kids - haven't sewn anything....trying to get my knitting act together...haven't seen the sun in a month! Grey, grey, grey....now I'm whining. I think I better go to bed!

  8. I love the idea about a trip around your neighboorhood! What about a mixtape? I want to know what your favorite music is right now.

  9. Well, I obviously am interested in food and knitting. What did you make from the Julia Child book? How did it turn out? Have you chosen a pattern for your lace knitalong project (and wedding shawl!)? Are there a few you're choosing between?

Also, I am the nosiest person in the world, so I'd love to learn more about where you live. You could show your knitting corner, a favourite mug, the view from your front door as you left for work, a favourite neighbourhood bookshop or coffe-shop, etc. - and the picture will almost write the post itself!

Good luck! I am really looking forward to reading whatever you come up with.

  11. It's difficult when you loose inspiration. Maybe you could tell us about what your favourite hobby was as a child? I bet you did other stuff before you learned to knit? Or tell us how you and your husband-to-be met? That I would love to hear, I'm a sucker for romantics!

  12. How about some tips for beginning knitters? One of my many New Year's resolutions is to teach myself to knit, but I hear it can be tricky for a crocheter.

  13. I would love to know about anything! I am always fascinated by the little details of other people's lives, so would be very happy indeed to hear about the small things in your life, and to find out about the area that you live in. I've no doubt that it's so very different from my home and surroundings here in London. Do you have a favourite place to go for coffee? A good local yarn store? I'm also very keen to hear about your Julia Child adventures the other day. How are your lace-related thoughts coming along? What's your all-time favourite knitting book? Kate, I always enjoy whatever you post so I wouldn't worry about the spark!

  15. I would love to hear about how/why you learned to knit and spin, what you love about it, and what you've learned from it. Any funny knitting disaster stories? What are your favorite knitting books? Does your mother or grandmother knit? Who taught you? Also I love learning personal info about bloggy friends ... where you'd vacation if you could go anywhere in the world, your dream job, what you love about your home, etc.

I've been enjoying your blog so much and have been very inspired by you.
