Traveled to New Hampshire (1 1/2 hour drive) last weekend, and was jealous of all the green the trees had on their branches. Five days later, and Maine has tiny leaves of its own. Hurray, spring!

The previous caretakers of the property were avid gardeners, and I have a feeling they loved daffodils as much as I do. I've had multiple vases of my favorite flower- they just keep blooming! Daffodils make me so happy!
Oh, I can't wait to see tiny green leaves here soon...
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend :)
Yay spring, that's great! Beautiful photos!
ReplyDeleteDaffodils are such a happy flower.
ReplyDeleteHooray....spring is finding you at last!
ReplyDeleteI love daffodils; they do scream spring is here.
Enjoy your weekend.
Enjoy the buds and the daffodils! They'll come in fast~
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful...
ReplyDeleteMMM. Most of our daffodils are gone now. Our azaleas are going crazy. :)
ReplyDeleteI love daffodils too. They always look so cheerful and happy to be blooming. YAY for spring.
ReplyDeleteOh NH is so beautiful!! My good friend lives there and we try to visit her and her family as often as we can. Far contrast to the flatness we have down here. Then again, Maine is stunning as well!! I am glad you were able to find some new growth when you went home!!
ReplyDeleteI'm so jealous of the daffodils. I have them too, but they don't like it when it hits 80 degrees, which it sometimes does as early as March where I live. They're still wonderful, even if they're brief visitors!
ReplyDeleteHi Kate!
ReplyDeleteI too love daffodils and I have some (about 1000, no exaggeration) that are late blooming so will pop in about a week. I love this time of year when the trees are getting their leaves and they are bright lime/chartreuse green.
Kate!
ReplyDeleteI have a jadeite mug that would love a caring home - could you email my your addy?

It seems that this is the only worthwhile information on the net for this, I've been searching and couldn't get anything more so thanks for this post.
