Your last doily prompted me to try a very simple doily too! I came back to see yours again and it has multiplied. I love the colour of this and the way it turned out. Usually I don't like pineapple crochet so it must be the colour! It looks just fabulous:) Good for you!

Beautiful doily! I have a small collection of old Japanese crochet books - they do have the most wonderful patterns. I love the idea of framing your work. Between you and Carole, I'm really getting the crochet bug again. :-)

This is absolutely gorgeous! I love the delicacy and feminity of crochet; especially doilies. It's one of the things that has been around for ages and I hope it never leaves!

Oh Kate, you have a right to be proud! Your doily is so delicate and beautiful. You say that you are not a doily kind of person, which I totally get, but what about sewing them all together for a table cloth or cover for a bed? Just an idea. Whatever you do I'm sure it will be lovely.
